In fact we had a huge overload on one of the servers, I’m telling you we were headed towards disaster. The average load came up to 100 and everything was just hitting timeouts everywhere!

Yeah, so I had to rewrite each and every SQL query in the project. There were so many messed up joins, that thing war crazy!

And here’s where I really rocked. I was the only one who know Memcache! I compiled it quickly and deployed it in just a few minutes!

And, pour finir, because the infrastructure stil diddn’t handle the load, I fired off a few Amazon EC2 instances! Lucky I’d done that already, U was able to manage load balancing right away. The guys were ecstatic!
